Time slipped through my hands.

A smile was over your face a time to reflect to laugh a little.
A cricket bat in one hand a memory in the other.
A boy now a man
A little sister, children on either side of her hands
Where had the time gone.
From making bow ties at school,
From drawing cartoons,
From playing badminton and ridding bikes,
The long winter walks that we took through the forests.
The toy railways that you made.
The Carpenter songs that we sang.
A smile that made me feel like I was five all over again.
Time now gone it slipped through our hands.
Thank you so much Scott for being my brother.
Looking forward to playing cricket with you again.
Miss you always Lee
Please have a cup of tea with me today.
